Winter glow Tactiles Medium Quiet

I tried the winter glow switches stock and after hand lubing. I did notice a difference but nothing major. It sounds like stepping on snow, like dense, muted, soft crush/crunch. It doesn’t feel crunchy to type on but it is tactile so it’s not meant to be super smooth. It sounds pretty similar to their sound test videos, but on my keyboard build it’s louder. I have all foams, tape, polyfil, with a flex cut plate. It think theyd be more quiet with a non flex plate. They’re very quiet pressing down, but when the keys bounce back up that is when they’re audible.

Just the right amount of quietness!!

I put these fresh out of the container in a QK65, FR4 plate and all foam. It was pleasantly quiet, with the remaining sound being from the keycaps and the board, in a good way. Tactile bump is pronounced enough to give feedback but is not fatiguing for those extended dev sessions.

Nice color way and sound!

Really like the color way, main reason I got it! 😂
The sound is nice and quiet, sounds like I'm typing on gushers.
Tactility is not too harsh of a bump which is great as I've always used

So satisfying to type on!

I love these switches! I've been having so much fun typing on these. They don't feel mushy because they're silenced with cutouts on the stem and not a silicone dampener, but it does feel like a softer landing than regular switches. That being said, the top-out(?) on the upstroke is louder than the bottom-out on the downstroke, with a noticeable tick when the key is released (still quieter than a regular switch). That doesn't bother me, but might bother others looking for complete silence.
They're silent enough for me though and the tactile bump is very satisfying, starting at the top of the key press and ending just before bottom-out. I'm used to typing on light tactile switches, and these feel light-medium so they're not prone to accidental press but don't tire out my fingers. They're also very generously lubed so no need for manual lubing.
