prebuilt keyboards come fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box. they remove the traditional process of building a custom keyboard yourself, while still offering the same typing experience with a simpler, more beginner-friendly setup.
what do the options mean when selecting a keyboard?
the options are formatted as follows: theme / keycaps / switches
theme
determines the colour and theme of your board. may affect colour, or certain design elements on the keyboard.
keycaps
standard - comes with matching keycaps with english lettering
canjie/hiragana/hangul - comes with matching keycaps with english and sublegends in corresponding language
no keycaps - does not include keycaps
switches
linear - smooth and consistent keypresses with no bump or click
tactile - a small bump during each keypress for added feedback
