classic mat guide
this is a guide on our new classic desk mats and mini mats. it’ll go over what’s included in the box, and how to make sure you’re getting the most out of your mat.
in the box
- classic deskmat or minimat, made with premium vegan leather
- optional silicone liner (individually wrapped)
first, you want to unroll the mat and lay it flat on your desk. you can let it rest for a few minutes to let it settle naturally, or you can place a few heavy objects on it to speed up the process.
the silicone liner
inside the box, you’ll find a separate, wrapped silicone liner. this liner is designed to provide a non-slip base for your mat so it firmly stays in place when in use. using the liner is optional, but it’s highly recommended for optimal performance.
remove the protective film on the silicone liner
before placing the liner on your desk, make sure to peel off the clear protective film. this step is essential as the film prevents the silicone from gripping properly. once removed, the liner will create a strong, stable hold on your desk and act as a nice base for your mat.

before placing the silicone liner, wipe down your desk to make sure there’s no dirt or residue. lay down the liner, then center your desk mat or mini mat on top. the liner is perfectly sized to be just smaller than the mat, so you won’t ever see it peek through the sides.
